I CANNOT FULLY EXPRESS HOW AMAZING THIS COWL IS IN REAL LIFE I ALMOST WANT TO FRAME IT SO I CAN LOOK AT IT EVERY SINGLE DAY. THE COLORS ARE PERFECT.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahhhh I’m so happy you love it!!!

Good morning! Just wanted to let you know your knitswap package should be shipping tomorrow. You said you enjoy coffee- any particular kind? I really hope you like what I’m sending you!!

Oh my god, I never got a notification for this message! I only opened my inbox today because I wanted to go back to a response someone had given me on something else.  I can’t even tell how long ago this was sent to me, which sucks.  I am SO SORRY.  It probably doesn’t even matter anymore, but I’m not hugely picky on coffee.  I usually just drink Dunkin’ Donuts or Starbucks, but I love coffee all around. 🙂

I had a couple people ask me for the pattern of the scarf I knit for theerinpala’s knitswap. So here it is!

BIRD’S EYE SCARF

You’ll need:
Lion Brand Wool-Ease yarn – 2 skeins of Oxford Grey (A), and 1 skein each of Seaspray (B) and Fisherman ©
Size 13 circular needles, 36"-40"
1 large stitch marker

Directions:
Holding all yarns double
, cast on 168 stitches using A
Join in the round, and knit a K2P2 rib for 7 rounds
Knit one round

Begin the stitch pattern:
Row 1: *sl1, K1, rep from * around
Row 2: Knit
Row 3:  *K1, sl1, rep from * around
Row 4:  Knit

Repeat these 4 rows 18 times, changing yarn color every two rows.  Repeat rows 9 & 10 once more in color A.  (If you’re using only two colors or more than three colors, just make sure to end your pattern repeats with the color of your ribbing.)

Knit a K2P2 ribbing for 7 rounds
Bind off.
Block lightly.

And that’s it!  I’d love to know if any of you decide to make one.  🙂

Knitswap project is finished, and I’m so in love with it.  I had it all packed up and ready to go today and I completely forgot to send it.  It’ll be going out first thing Monday morning, though, so a huge advance apology to my swapee!  I hope you love it!

Is that pattern on Ravelry? I. Must. Make. One.

I actually made it up using a stitch I found in my stitch dictionary.  Give me a day and I can write it out for you!  It’s super easy.
